Dr. James Paschal

Biography

Dr. James E. Paschal,  earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University in 1989 and his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1993 from the Medical College of Georgia.  Dr. Paschal continued his education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he completed a residency in Prosthodontics in 1996, a Masters of Science degree in Biomaterials &  Prosthodontics, and a General Practice Residency in 1997.  Dr. Paschal maintained a private practice in Prosthodontics and Reconstructive Implant Dentistry in Atlanta for five years before returning to graduate school to complete a residency in Orthodontics at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center in 2004.  Dr. Paschal currently maintains a private practice in Orthodontics in Madison, Georgia, USA; and is one of only a few dual trained Orthodontist and Prosthodontist in the United States.

Dr. Paschal truly enjoys innovation, technology and education in orthodontics.  He consults on the development of future technologies within the field and lectures on the integration of these technologies in private practice.  Dr. Paschal holds a faculty appointment at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health.  He is a member and active leader in many professional organizations.  Dr. Paschal is a past-president of the Georgia Association of Orthodontists and the current Chairman of the Council on Communications for the American Association of Orthodontists.
